The Petersburg Virginia Department of Corrections, District #7 Probation and Parole Office

This 10,800 SF building and related parking and site improvements is a Design Build project for the Virginia Department of Corrections to relocate their Petersburg facilities.  Project requirements included additional access and security measures and special interior features and finishes for the unique nature of the end user.  The building is a design build and anticipated for a May 2019 start of construction.

Due to the forced relocation of the DOC from the previous Probation and Parole Offices, we provided emergency work for temporary office facilities. This included development assistance, site and utility construction, and bulletproof interiors to a Modular Building that was erected near the permanent site location to serve the DOC clients until the completion of the new building. Work was completed within 90 days for the DOC modular buildings to be moved to the site.
