Bridge Point Commons, Route 17, Isle of Wight County

The property, Tax Parcels 34-01-050 and 34-01-050D, is currently zoned R-AC. This zoning would allow the development of approximately 30-35 single family residential lots, based on the allowable density and the lot dimensional requirements. The recently completed Route 17 Corridor Study recommends the development of these properties as a Mixed Use Development.

The proposed zoning for the community will allow and possibly include both age restricted residential development and family style apartments and/or condominiums, and will include a limited number of other compatible retail and office uses and activities. The commercial and retail shop area will be located toward the frontage of the property on Carrollton Boulevard. It is the intent to market these commercial pad sites, shops, and office spaces to tenants and users whose target market is the onsite residential units, and those businesses who will provide needed local services to the nearby neighborhoods and local community.
